Initially I saw Christine Ng was supposed to be cast in the BEYOND THE REALM OF CONSCIENCE, even when the trailer was shown back umpteen months ago. However, when I was looking thru again, her name was being removed? Anyone knows anything about her departure?

After watching both different episodes, in a clearer sense, Beyond the Realm of Conscience stands out. It somehow kinda reminds you of "War & Beauty", and I foresee a lot of cruel capital punishment from this series.

No doubt at least 60% of Born Rich might be filmed in Sabah, which might bring out the hyped in us as Malaysian, however, the first episode doesn't caught hold of my attention yet. Might still give it a try before jumping into any silly conclusions.

Let's give both BTROC & BR a chance first before it comes to an end. For me, both are good shows with a different pace.

BTROC reflects back the ancient China way of surviving, which needs a faster pace before all of us will go to sleeeeeeep. That's why every episode is a "kan jiong" sensation with the addition of the music. Trust me, the background music of every episode races all our adrenaline.

BR is modern which suits our eyes more and it can have their time to develop their plot. Although many complains about the slow development, however, there is still space for them to create a "kan jiong" environment.

Totally agree with you.. I was actually anticipating Tavia's role as a Concubine/Empress. Heard from many that this is show is not encouragable for the weak hearted. hahahahaha... Too kan jiong worr...

Although at the back of my mind, I thought Tavia can't pull this off... but there are a few scenes, I think she will pushed it even further in the later episodes... let's wait and see

Hahaha... Good good good. I also heard that "Gun Metal Grey" has a good plot too. I think I better concentrate with "No Regrets" first. If not sure rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

The Confidant is by far the most scenic show ever for 2012. They captured every angle in the palace beautifully. Using its architecture with full confidence and historically meaningful. Well, I personally read the book "Empress Orchid" by Anchee Min and so far, the relationship between An Dehai and the Empress remains faithful in TVB has shown to us so far.
