is it legal or ethical when you buy a house (before completion) or more than 50% complete
with bumi price (7%) discount
and sell the house lower then the developer's price after the launching/completion date?

U need to see if the unit u're buying with bumi discount is a designated bumi unit or not.

If yes, the price u can fetch is lower than market & tougher to sell as well.

Thus nowadays, the capable bumis, given the chance, would rather opt for non-bumi lot.

Maybe TS thought it's a way to make some quick buck.

BUT don't forget, add in the penalty (if taking loan), legal fee (loan & transfer), stamp duty, interest etc. What's ur margin?

Can clear my following doubt:

1)If all designated bumi unit had been sold and a bumi want to buy a non-bumi unit, will he entitle for the bumi discount?

2)Can i buy the bumi unit by using bumi status company?

1. Depending on the developer's policy, some do give, but most dont give discount.

What is defifnition of bumi co in respect of land acquisition in the state where property is located?
In Johor , it means 100% bumi equity. One more thing you may be interested to know (if not already aware)
.... Any transaction done which is in contravention of an existing law is not legal and cannot be enforced in law
