Can give me some opinion what kind of internet cafe is more you guys favorites.... speed of the comp, environment, staff services or etc.........
Share with me your personal feel Le.... im getting to set up business may need your profession.... hehe.......

20's widescreen lcd, mic, speaker, nice mouse, nice chair.haha.nice aircond, nice price..no smell lke smoking bla3..thats all..about service..idk..jst..nice person would good be there.

Do not expect to have a staff who have a good services in Malaysia, as you can see, the reason most of the people works in cyber cafe in Malaysia are mainly coz of they get to play for free, well unless you are able to train him.

Agreed with icetman. Nowadays, CC no longer a fast return business. RM2 per hour and if you follow rules like without cheating TNB, pay full amount of game license (without undertable ) and etc. There will be a huge expenses you need to concern.

Well here's my list
PC - 17-22 " monitor
Keyboard/Mouse - any brand as long comfortable
Headphone - gaming one pls
PC as long can play latest game at good quality..


environment - pls dun pack the pc's too close not comfortable
- no smoking
- clean toilet
- reasonable food and drink ( price)
must have light no need so bright
- Air con
- staff must be smart and friendly

erm rm2 / hour how to make money? :
huge up front investment required.

say 30 pcs computer
say each computer average 10 hours usage per day.
30 x 10 x 2 = rm 600 / day
rm 600 x 30 = rm 18 000 / month

30 pcs computer.

say each computer need 2500
2500 x 30 = 75 000
shop renovation, game license, os license, etc etc

manyak duit diperlukan.

based on your assumption's that's a pretty decent payback time scale though you can't just use raw turnover for this. You'd probably still get a decent return on investment if you could maintain a decent level of occupancy.

Still, imagine if all the CCs had to use their pcs to fold when not being hired out. That's a lot of ppd.

Cybercafe is a long term business. RM 2/2.50 is a reasonable price and if you charge too expensive people will go to another cybercafe. You don't have to spend on too high-end computers. Good environment and high speed internet access(online games are dominating now and facebooking) are important.

As for your computer spec,

get at least C2D
2 GB ram(upgradeable in future)
Mobo around Rm 200
Logitech Keyboard Set(with optical mouse & digital speaker)(Retail price is rm 60+)
9600GT(minimum)

WHAT KIND OF CHICKEN FARM??

From my experience by just looking at new and old cc, cc needs up to date system.

I would see this spec as minimum:

Core 2 Quad Q9550 or Core i5
Reasonably priced P35/45/55 motherboard
4GB DDR2-800/DDR3-1333
ATI HD5850(saves power when idle) or GTX3xx(that is below RM1k) <- will last you a long time
1TB hard disk
600W branded power supply
Long lasting mouse and keyboard
Monitor is up to you. Just make sure it supports 1920x1080

Windows 7 is coming. It will be launched on this month.
