Any idea of the expectation when your choose to go the internet cafe...?? speed of the comp or staff services..??
Any suggestion place for having a new internet cafe business @ JB??

We want a CC which does not have DOTA.

Which is impossible to be done in Malaysia.

Your revenue will come from DoTA players so don't listen to em.

I would say to make sure your computer is fast, monitor is big, mouse is smooth, price is RM2 per hour, have popular games like fifa, DoTA, WoW etc, location in residential area (preferably near a secondary school), ample parking space, mamak stall outside or nearby, have a reward system/club so that ppl who join the club gets some form of benefit (eg an hour free for every 10 hours), have a hot friendly chick manning the payment counter, lightning not too bright but not too dark, have a smoking and non smoking section, good toilet facilities and clean environment.

last i heard some company named Sendi Mut***a was sucking monthly royalties from CC for original warcraft3 ownership, i think u can try acquiring more information regarding this, unless you planned to use *cough* *cough* software

few CC that in 30 minutes walking distance in my area are doing this but people dun report them due to the fact the players usually settle outside over fist fights after and the game of D**a, plus gaming company doesn't give high rewards like Microshit Microshaft Microsoft that tempt people to report them.

So far the only CC that satisfied me was Net Studio at Sri Petaling, some of their worker are friendly, and they do change the mouse if you asked to if the mouse is faulty, and of course they arrange back the keyboard/mouse nicely when customer left, and mop with a cleaning cloth, thumbs up for their services.

for CC in JB u can try Kingsurf at pandan indah... i raid there b4 on my visit to jb.. latency were around 500-900ms.

btw.. IMAX CC in Ipoh got Keylogger.. i got 3 friends hacked when playing at the CC

Besides those LAN games, online games seem to have bright future for CC business.

Maybe you should consider to load balance your multiple WAN lines, setup a proxy server and also configure proper QoS for different services.

Let's not let the YouTube fans suck up all the bandwidth.

if u want to open huge cc , no problem monthly fee to the game distributor , cost thousands u can earn back , if small i think not wise .

my place charge betwween rm1.00 to rm1.50.

dota one only rm1 all pc .
beside the cafe got another promote sudden attack i guess , gt 4-5 ppl always.
suddenly gave up last few wweeks , put rm1.50->rm1.


one promote dota , they charge rm1 only . the cafe anytime also full.
normally 10-3x ppl .morning gt 10 after that at least 25.
only one shop .

other i think free game only 4-5 ppl avg.
but they did survive.
