The story goes like this:

I OC my P4. Successful. Then gatal go OC my other rig. I OC both the processor and Graphic Card. The Graphic card concerned is XFX 9800GT 580M version. Before I OC, the temperature is around 50oC (load is around 60). After I increase the core clock to 624MHz, the temperature rise to 57oC (havent try to load yet).

Is it acceptable or am I in deep shit? icon_question.gif

if u got one of those good gpu it can reach a tad over 700mhz but most 9800g/8800gt can do 650mhz easily.

Mine stock 700 mhz. With G600 case the idle is at 48-50 C.

That's okay... I managed to O/C my 9800GT to 735 1837 1025 ( 2050 ), but that's because I have an aftermarket heatsink and RAMsinks for the.. well, ram chips.
