wa..just now went through the last few posts and saw u guys discussed about the "Bumi" topic. Lot of ppl thought that Bumiputera is just for Malay. But that's is not the true fact as the aborigines( orang asli) is also granted the status of Bumiputera or Bumiputra.

Bumiputera or Bumiputra, which is a Malay word, comes from the Sanskrit word Bhumiputra which may be transliterated as "son of earth" or "son of the soil" (bhumi = earth; putra = son)
