I have a Korean Hard-Modded Wii

I've read that the Wii's Internet Channel is now free, but I don't seem to be able to get online. I'm just wondering if it's a configuration issue on my side, or if a modded Wii can even download the Internet channel in the first place.

Can someone pls help?

You can download it from the Korean Wii Shop Channel. Provided it has not been tampered with.

When I test my wifi connection it says 'OK', but it always seems to timeout when I go into the shop. Any ideas why?

this is a softmod exercise. you might want to check out softmod forums, or call a 'wii engineer' to do it for you (may not be free). hope it works out.

Added on September 29, 2009, 7:38 pmoops, look like from today onwards (29 sep 2009) wii shop channel will not work for system version 4.1 and below. So no luck on the above softmod advice until some genius out there come up with a softmod fix. from history they always manage to fix, just need to be very patient.
