i went to post office last saturday and i bought a few post express envelope..
The pos lady told me price gonna increase from oct 1st onwards.

She can only remember RM2.50 increase to RM3, the rest she's not sure..

Not really sure how true is this since i never heard other ppl say about it, but if real, better stock up on the envelope before it increase...

How true is this information?

I guess all shops will be hiding these pos express if this is true. Need to stock up then for my next postage to the buyers.

Not enough la, get few box instead.
IMO if the price incresement is not big, there's no need to stock up the envelope.

From RM2.50 to RM3, that's a 20% price increase.
It's quite a lot actually.

I have email pos malaysia customer service regarding this.
Hopefully they will reply to my query.

Only Pos Express? Hopefully not PosLaju bcoz it's ady dang expensive and I always use PosLaju xD

pos laju already added the fuel surcharge some times ago.
Now the cheapest is still RM4.50 + 25% service charge!!!

Its true.. will increase 2.50 - 3.00, 3.00 - 3.50 ... sigh..

50cents increase not a big fuss ba.

Yeah, for normal user, it's not that much.
But for us selling and posting items to others, it's very bad news.

I have collected only RM4 from around 60 people for my epikcase bulk.
If it's increase to RM4.50, then I'm looking at a loss of RM30 here!

The pos malaysia replied my email and it's true there will be price increase starting on 1st OCT.
RM2.50 will become RM3
RM 3 will become RM3.50
RM 4 will become RM4.50
RM 6 and RM 7 box type one remain unchanged.


So anyone knows where can I get pos express in bulk and offering some discount? Any suppliers I can contact?

one thing i'm wondering is that, the old express post envelope (the ones already printed with RM2.50 on it) will still be sold as RM3? Cos they didn't inform customers or post any notice, so surely still left back a lot of old envelopes... hehe..just curious..

the post office at my place put up a hand written notice to inform all users...aiseh..they really should put up earlier lo~

i went on 30th sept.. seeing the notice written there...
i straight away go in tell them i want 2.5 for 1000 piece..

they replied , " sorry bang , lepas 4pm , kita tak boleh masuk store ambil lagi , esok datang la.. beli rm3 "

Yes, increased already.
RM 2.50 wan now selling at RM 3 so sad...

so go to any stationary store with old price and stock up...heheh~~

but i went to poslaju centre today and i saw their new pos ekspres envelopes..the colour are different, at least

and i overheard at the counter, the officer was saying to another customer that the RM4.50 pos ekspres envelope now costs over RM5, inclusive postage charges etc. Huhu

Just back from Pos office... Saw the pos express prices stated there is still the same. Not sure whether they got increase or not.. but they didn't change the price stated.

economic price hahaha seems fastest services too:) from sarawak to penang 12hours reach me my express:)
