PL50 is indeed great with Vocal, no doubt that the Mids will make u excited. however details is being covered by mids~ due to over whelming mids in vocal song, it tends to cover up the details

RE0 on the other hand is great with treble and details. mids is a little recess and not so great compare to PL50. but still it is satisfiable. soundstage wise, RE0 is great and i have not tested PL50 long enough to feel the soundstage.


PL50 is great with song with many vocal / Jazz genre. RE0 is more versatile, it is good with many genre and neutral.

what u hear in RE0 is the originality of the recording studio, while PL50 emphasize on the mids and not so original~

some ppl do like IEM with extra bass or extra mids where they are being colored excessively.

as for me, i appreciate the music originality of how it is suppose to sound without any other emphasizing.

if u look for perfect bass, no doubt fischer audio eterna has the best bass for ur budget, but the price is RM250

no doubt AKG headphone is famous but for the IEM , i guess it is not that hot yet since no body dare to place bet on it. for better sales, i guess u might wana send a demo unit to some reputable reviewer so that they can make a review with benchmark and ppl could compare againt other IEM benchmark and probably some ppl might be interested after that

No need one la, just make a guide of what you heard of and read of. even the forumer here asking for help never heard of any of the iem also. lol~ it serves as a reference letting them know the availability or existence of such IEM and then it is up to them to decide what to buy

if u think earpump SQ is good, then with RM100, u can get way better SQ than earpump

if the headphone/iem/earphone signature is not heavy on bass, even if u use amp with bass boost, it will not turn it into a bass monster.

but amp with bass boost does really help a little, but don expect much. however sometimes the little amount is good enough for certain user. best is audition them to avoid any regret
