topup a bit and u can get urself an Audio-Technica AD500. Wide soundstage means it's going to perform well in those aspects u mentioned, particularly gaming and movies, and instrumental/classical music if that's ur thing...
if cannot topup budget a bit, then get the AD400 instead.

Hurm. I'm not a basshead and I don't know what drives you to say that. What I really like is separation. I love to listen to a song and be able to separate the drum from the guitars if you know what I mean. Don't want it to be messy plus I'm not a fan of cloudy bass which will drown every other sound.

I almost ended up with Grado SR60 but I took a step back once I auditioned and find it quite uncomfortable for me. But it has a very good SQ for metal songs in terms of the bass and clarity mixing but somehow I found that it's not good separation wise. Other than that it's a decent can for it's price. Please don't bash me if I'm using the wrong terms here.

I really wanna try AKG AT and high end Senns say HD650 but haven't found the right place to test even one of it. Gonna drop to the shops you guys suggested, maybe I'll found one.

i second Audio Technica AD series really fits ur preference if u want comfortability, good seperation n wide soundstage... unless if ur looking into something portable...

guys, just wanna ask, where go look for those headphone and IEM at reasonable price, other than buying through online? any good shop to recommend around kl?

i notice sri computer has quite a number of them, but not sure if those are at the best price. just some common brand though, philips,sony etc.

AT should sponsor 1 unit to me.. since i already promo it kaw kaw... for me to keep up the continuous good work!

Harvey Norman sometimes have rare cans for auditions... the last time i went to Harvey Norman at Ikano, they have Beats by Dr Dre on audition. and some philips, etc...
anyway, Sri Comp's price for AT cans are slightly more expensive than the ones u can buy from the forummers here... cannot remember exactly the price, but i do remember it's a bit more expensive...

i never liked to buy from sri comp... i would avoid that shop if possible... they would hike up the price kaw kaw...
