QUOTE(shdwkillr @ Dec 22 2009, 11:12 PM) I am thinking of changing my current Ultimate Ears metro.fi 2 to a better one. I bought it some time ago around RM200. I personally feel that UE metro.fi 2 is quite emphasized on the bass (Just personal feeling). I am now looking for an IEM which has a better sound quality (preferably moderate bass and not that strong) than UE metro.fi 2 in the price range below RM300. Another important point is that I found that UE metro.fi 2 is not so good in noise cancellation. I am really looking into a good sound quality and good noise cancellation quality IEM. Any recommendation on this? Quoting my own words as there is no reply at all, therefore I think I have to give more info to get some response.- what you currently have Ultimate Ears metro.fi 2, iPhone - what type of usage Music and movies, but mostly music - source mp3 - type of music listen to Mostly Chinese pop songs and some English pop songs - personal requirements like type IEM |

QUOTE(duh2k @ Dec 23 2009, 10:50 AM) I believe akg, beyer, sennheiser and audio technica make some awesome cans that are both comfortable and good for music. erm...my budget can up to rm 250, i like pop music and maybe hip hop or some kind of soft songs...i wish my headphone won't come out with the annoying noise...Maybe u could state ur budget and genre of music u listen to for better recommendations |

QUOTE(ayapjs @ Dec 23 2009, 01:48 PM) but isn't the impedance too high to be driven by my iphone without an amp ?? coz i dono i read somewhere for mp3 player the impedance should be around 32 ohms. sorry, me just too overwhelm with all the info from the net yeah technically it's like dat... M30 impedance should be still acceptable it's not some headphones with 300 ohms impedance... dat will be a different story...like i said it's not necessary doesn't mean u can't it's up the user himself... even sometimes people pair IEM's with impedance lower than 32 ohms with an amp... technical wise why should they use it with amp since the player can easily drive it with ease... |

Sound Magic PL50 VS Vsonic R02 ProII
Which one is better? Is the PL50 is comfortable enough to use when sleeping? |
