hello guys , i am currently finding a HEADphone for myself but i have no experience in that whatsoever , any good recommendation?

my budget is around rm 300~400

usage is for 70% music and 30% gaming

and i hope the design isnt that bad either , cause sometimes maybe i want to use it outdoors

firstly i wanted to get steel series Siberia / senheiser hd555

but those are quite old tech , released at least 5 years ago , and i read comments from internet saying their quality for music is so-so.

any recommendation will be greatly appreciated , thanks in advance =X

***i wear spectacles and i want a headphone that provide comfort even after hours of usage. i have experienced some which makes your ear irritated after a few hours.

and i want to use it to listen music through my phone , so theres no ultra sound cards in my phone. any one with good sound w/o good sound card? and very good with sound card? (ill sometimes use it for pc too)

i dont want to buy an amp also , and i want it to be ultra comfy!

Hello all the Guru(s) here... need your recommendation.

Usage: Laptop movies, songs, casual gaming
Source: Laptop & Handphone (C905)
Type of Music: Jazz, Classical, Country, Oldies
Personal Requirements: IEM is a must, Light weight, good quality, looks good.
Budget: Below RM100. Preferably around RM50 or lower

Comments: I'm actually looking for a nice, cheap, entry level IEM with reliable built. Sound quality should be something like Sony Ericsson's HPM70 headphones. By the way, what I meant with reliable built is that it won't suddenly one side no sound.

Oh, can pls kindly PM me the recommendations too. Coz this thread grows quite fast and it's hard to track so many posts.

Thanks lots! rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

you can try to get the ATH-AD700. it's good for music and gaming. i have a pair now and all i can say is that it's great! i wear glasses too. no problem with that. it's actually very very comfy. no amp needed for it too. if you search a bit in the forum, u might be able to get a pair at around your budget.

cheerios...

I dont know why im so biased to recommend u audio techinca m30. For rm200++ i would say this is a good headphone (not noise cancelation thou...). Its a darn good monitoring headphone and i just love the sound siggy.
Anyways, with that amount of budget, there's alot of good brand u can choose from sennheiser, grado, audio technica, akg etc. Why dont u lurk at garage sales? biggrin.gif

i dont really care about the noice cancelling , i want the best quality for my money! so still recommending audio techinca m30?

is it better than quietcomfort 2? i read the reviews , they said the cost of production all went into the noise cancelling feature.. i doubt ill take it out often anyways , so noise cancelling is not that important. i want any one that can beat the quality of this at least..

can u tell me what the purpose of the headphones? for music? movies? games?
are u a basshead?
why dont u give urself an auditions at machines (for sennheiser usually) or challanger at mines (if u stay there...) they have lots of good headphones to audition with.....

since what u asking is kindda random... i only can guess and assume u have the same or least same as my preferences...

I tried out a boss around-ear headphone today, really like the comfort, and decent sound quality too, but 179Au$ seems a bit too expensive.. I think I wanna get a headphone of such kind in future.. Any recommendation?

I would say ath m30 is a clean and detailed in instrument headphones. The bass is enuff for my hearing and its comforting even thou some say the grip is a little bit tight. For the price , im sure it'll beat bose any day! brows.gif
