hi there, just wanna find out which is suitable for all round usage.. mainly home recording, and listening to music.
currently leaning towards ath m30 or shp8900. i understand that they are inherently different, with one being closed and the other open.
i've heard good things about the philip's soundstage, but at moderate volumes, how bad is the leakage?
in terms of comfort which is the better of the two?
feel free to recommend other headphones withing the m30 and shp8900 price range.
thanks!
since u are into home recording i would recommend m30 = it's a monitoring headphone thus u can listen all the detail u need... and it's also great for music / movie...currently leaning towards ath m30 or shp8900. i understand that they are inherently different, with one being closed and the other open.

comfort ar? m30 is pleather pads so it's kinda hot when u wear it longer... unless u get AD-series which is famous for their comfyness and soundstage...
