hello , my brother just borrowed his friends Bose QuietComfort 2 headphone for me to test , but the quality isnt that much different from my cheap earphone.. any recommendation? his friend selling it off at half price.. any good earphone better than bose quietcomfort 2 at around 400~500?
*
I dont know why im so biased to recommend u audio techinca m30. For rm200++ i would say this is a good headphone (not noise cancelation thou...). Its a darn good monitoring headphone and i just love the sound siggy.
Anyways, with that amount of budget, there's alot of good brand u can choose from sennheiser, grado, audio technica, akg etc. Why dont u lurk at garage sales? biggrin.gif

i dont really care about the noice cancelling , i want the best quality for my money! so still recommending audio techinca m30?

is it better than quietcomfort 2? i read the reviews , they said the cost of production all went into the noise cancelling feature.. i doubt ill take it out often anyways , so noise cancelling is not that important. i want any one that can beat the quality of this at least..
*
can u tell me what the purpose of the headphones? for music? movies? games?
are u a basshead?
why dont u give urself an auditions at machines (for sennheiser usually) or challanger at mines (if u stay there...) they have lots of good headphones to audition with.....

since what u asking is kindda random... i only can guess and assume u have the same or least same as my preferences...

mostly music. sometimes games. not really a basshead but dont like bass that are too weak either. went to machines ,, only got 2-3 headphones only.. at pyramid one.
*
I would say ath m30 is a clean and detailed in instrument headphones. The bass is enuff for my hearing and its comforting even thou some say the grip is a little bit tight. For the price , im sure it'll beat bose any day! brows.gif

Budget = rm1000

Other infos like the following will also be helpful to get faster and more accurate responses.
- what you currently have, ipod nano 5th gen 16 gb
- more to music
- source mp3
- all genre
- prefer the ultimate isolating deep bass and vocals

actualy i have these choice in my mind :
Monster Turbines
Beats by Dre Tour earphones
*
i could not figure much iem that can do isolation so well except etymotic and also do a custom..... but isnce ure a bass head, and ur budget is quite high.... i think u better go for sennheiser ie8....

hmm... sooo , i heard reviews that akg k340 (IEM) is not that good , as they say you can feel the presence of it , rather than kind of forgetting that you are wearing it , + they said the cables are kind of disturbing because of the cable sound when the cable contacts your body and everything

but , pl-50 is another story.. everyone says its holy crap , but i dont know to get it or not either... any recommendation? T_T

k340 VS pl-50!!

im planning to pair them up with a fiio E5... which one will benefit more? and which one is the best choice?!!!!
*
get PL50 since u gonna pair it with fiio E5....

i wanna stress on this point , VERY SHARP. VERY VERY sharp.

i used my friends blackberry to test it by the way

will check though the AKG is over my budget and m30 is below, on a spending spree here wink.gif. something that will make my friends go jealous tongue.gif. thanks for replying
there's an issue though, with m30. how come the price vary so much compared to some online dealers here? chiau(cant remember) sells it for 199
*
just be careful when buying M30, coz there's a lot of fake out there... buy from authorize dealer only... but that doesnt mean the cheap one is fake and the expensive one is original..
