I almost pengsan when I saw the doggy wipes at Petsmore. Definitely much more expensive than baby wipes. RM20 plus for 10 to 15 pcs. Crazy !!!!

Tat is what i tot , ie baby wipes should be OK as babies have sensitive skin as well. I might just give it a try . Max hates being wiped and I was just thinking about "puppy boots". Anyone tried ?

Actually all these doggie stuff is more expensive than human stuff !!

BTW, anyone tried dog boarding services ? Any good recommendation, preferably not too expensive and around PJ /Sri Damansara/Menjalara area. My sis told me that some (esp the cheaper ones) are quite dirty and the dogs will come back with fleas and ticks !!! My family and I might have to go away for a weekend next month and we cannot bring Max along. Looking after a puppy is really no joke !!!

Ha ha ..... I saw lots of doggie shoes when my kids switched on the "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" DVD for Max to watch last Saturday. Too bad Max just wasnt interested in the movie

according to what i read , it is better to have a fixed time .... also easier to toilet train as one would know when they poop (ie usually after dinner). so breakfast is 6.30 am and dinner is around 730 pm

Max's routine has gone haywire in the past week. Previously he will poop in the tray immediately after breakfast n dinner. Now he just wont. Anyway was at doggie fair @ central park, one utama just now. Saw a MS wit wat they call a "horse" cut at pets icon stall. Very cute. Tot mohican but they say horse

after one utama, drive towards LDP to ikea n sri damansara. after the sri damansara toll, keep left and u would see a caltex station . after the caltex, there is a "u" turn on yr right. take the "u" turn back to the one utama direction. immediately after the "u" turn, keep left. take the 1st turn on yr right. drive uphill and u would reach a roundabout. make a 3 o'clock turn. at the roundabout u can see the big parkcity sign is there on the retaining wall . u cant miss the sign unless u r

If i am round n if it is desa parkcity, chances are pretty high i will join u guys !!! actually parking at parkcity car park 2 is easier compared to central park . but dont park at car park 1 !!!! always full

Grooming - Expectations .......

Sorry if the question sounds stupid !!!

I was kind of lazy to bath Max last Sat. So I tot I would send him for grooming at the neighbourhood pet shop. It was the 1st time. I dont know if the groomer was bz or wat but she said that Max (at 3 mths plus) is too young for full groomin which would make the fur coarse. Wat do u guys think ? So she suggested a bath , ear cleaning, nail clipping , under body shaving etc

The shaved part under his body was all red after the session . Is it normal ? and max was scratchin like mad .

I also found clumps of fur in the plastic crate I used to ferry Max to the shop ? And when I let Max into the house , the whole house was full of short fur. I had to sweep the living and dining area twice. And wash the crate as well. Is this normal ? Or should she clean Max properly (ie remove all loose fur) b4 returning him to me.

I am not going back 4 sure ........

She didnt ask but Max is already fully vaccinated....... I only started taking him out 2 weeks after his last vaccination.

Another groomer (nice shop and highly educated) is even better. At tat time, I told her that Max was not fully vaccinated yet . She assured me that it is OK as all the dogs in her shop are clean . Maybe her eyes can see viruses. How irresponsible !!!

If u guys are not sure on how to get to desa parkcity, u better stick to central park la ...... after the "U" turn, if u miss the 1st left turn, u would be heading back to the toll booth and bandar utama.

but if u follow my directions, there are signboards. there is one near the "U" turn. there is also one after the "U" turn directing you to turn left . one you turn left , really cannot miss already . but if u miss the left turn, sorry fren - there is no turning back as it is all the way to the toll

Gosh ..... Both your Max and mine look so much alike . Or do all Schnauzers look alike esp puppies ?

Hi , Is it OK to send a 4 mth old MS for full grooming ? Dunno if the groomer was too bz and lied to me. She only did basic grooming and told to wait until 6 mths of age. She told me full grooming at 4 mths old would make the fur coarse !!!
