Schnauzer tends to be very sticky to their humans, and most have a separation anxiety. If they are left alone at home when you go to work, they will bark and bark and bark. They also tend to have skin issue, which may eat into your financials. Why buy when you can adopt. If you are a 1st time owner, i would propose that you do fostering to try out whether you have what it takes to have a dog as a pet. There are a lot of hard work that goes into owning that good looking, good mannered dog.

If you want a breed that is easy to take care, easy to love, and trainable, i would say, a local breed or a mix breed would do really well for a first time dog owner. I have a mix breed and when people tells me, pure breeds are smarter and easy to train, let me tell you, my Sunshine came in top of her obedience pre-novice class above other pure breeds. Whether a dog listens to you or not or have any emotional connection with you or not, it all depends on the OWNER. Dogs are like 3 year old kids, you can teach them anything and if you love them, they will understand and love you back. The key to training & communicating with dogs, CONSISTENCY, same goes for training and bringing up a 3 year old.... CONSISTENCY

this morning i saw one small bug crawling around my dog's body.. i assume its a damn flea, so difficult to catch that fella wei.. so fast it crawl..  gonna mix some vinegar/water and spray that fellow later when i go back..

well. i caught two, but now ok already.. don see anything .. coz my dog is whit color, easier to be spotted.

raining season now, also tick season. i cought a few from my boy few days ago. better let them stay away from grass ground/ soil.

Guys i just got given 1 of this dog. Help me please.

1.Is it ok i keep them outside? Bcs i dont want thier poo poo and wee wee all over inside my house?
2. How to train him to stop barking?

Outside but he is fully cover with a roof, 3 wall and a gate. It's like a garage can fit 1 car in there but he has it all to himself.3 month old. Barking at nothing? Only when play with him he will stop, but can't play with him 24/7 bcs got things to do.

Would like to check with MS owner, which dog kibbles do you give to your furkid MS, as MS prone to sensitive skin.

i would plan to change for the time being, my ms is 4 years old d.

This is vary from each MS but try to avoid chicken and few others. I can't remember well but not all (even expensive) kibbles are for MS because of the % of fat and proteins. I give my MS TOW salmon, sometimes lamb due to the ratio of fat and proteins and the order of items in the kibbles.
