QUOTE(yikhoe @ Nov 25 2009, 09:52 PM) i'm feeding my MS around 2 tablespoon of kibble per meal... 2 meals a day. Not that enough i think but he's mostly staying at home and seldom exercise that much except for running around at home, so wanna train him to go with lesser food. how old your schnauzer? My friend does another ritual where he starve the dog once a week. Let them appreciate food and also better for health to cleanse their body. |

QUOTE(Rayne @ Nov 26 2009, 09:00 AM) Oh, okay...like that, if we're including our furkids means we might have to go to the parks lo. More convenient coz there is ample space in the park. We can do like picnic style? Bring along some tikar or big plastic sheets so we can sit and eat okok....thx rayne ...the xmas gathering will be on 20 dec at BU park. might chaneg to Desa park...but i dont knw how to go there... If we're doing potluck, might I suggest that we make small portions of each food we're bringing? Let's say if the gathering has about 10 people, each person needs to make food for about 2-3 people only. If each of us make for 10 people, there will be too much food, and wasting...not to mention hard to bring. For furkids' treats, anything that is edible will do la...if you don't want to make, just bring those commercial treats lo...or even order from the pet bakeries if you prefer something different each owner prepare a present for the chirstmas present exchange session for furkids. (price within rm10 will do) each owner prepare food(something light like sandwich, fries, some fruits etc) please pm me what u guy can prepare so that i can arrange hope this gathering works... need suggestion menu for the day. . . QUOTE(Rayne @ Nov 26 2009, 09:44 AM) If you're doing a picnic, light finger food would definitely be best...if bring heavy stuff like noodles and all, very troublesome because you'd have to bring plates, forks & spoons, etc. Finger foods like sandwiches, fries, nuggets, pastries, cakes, etc would be best lo yaya ... so morning or evening u guyz prefer??BU park or Desa park u guyz prefer? |

QUOTE(rkkyong @ Nov 26 2009, 02:11 PM) Grooming - Expectations ....... if not mistaken, i told u that better not to send the puppy for grooming before he finished his last vaccination.Sorry if the question sounds stupid !!! I was kind of lazy to bath Max last Sat. So I tot I would send him for grooming at the neighbourhood pet shop. It was the 1st time. I dont know if the groomer was bz or wat but she said that Max (at 3 mths plus) is too young for full groomin which would make the fur coarse. Wat do u guys think ? So she suggested a bath , ear cleaning, nail clipping , under body shaving etc The shaved part under his body was all red after the session . Is it normal ? and max was scratchin like mad . I also found clumps of fur in the plastic crate I used to ferry Max to the shop ? And when I let Max into the house , the whole house was full of short fur. I had to sweep the living and dining area twice. And wash the crate as well. Is this normal ? Or should she clean Max properly (ie remove all loose fur) b4 returning him to me. I am not going back 4 sure ........ the reddish underpart is due to the allergy ..this happen whn they nvr sterilize or clean the tool properly.... for a groomer, they shld clean and touch up everything before returned the puppy to owner...i dont think that shop is reliable since 1st...they nvr ask if the puppy finished his vaccination laready or not(puppy might get infected if there are dog that with parvo virus(deathly virus) for a good grooming place, u shld ask if they sterilze their equipment after every grooming session o not. U can request for that .. . |

QUOTE(rkkyong @ Nov 26 2009, 02:36 PM) She didnt ask but Max is already fully vaccinated....... I only started taking him out 2 weeks after his last vaccination. wo...so cool....can c viruses through her eye... Another groomer (nice shop and highly educated) is even better. At tat time, I told her that Max was not fully vaccinated yet . She assured me that it is OK as all the dogs in her shop are clean . Maybe her eyes can see viruses. How irresponsible !!! |
