Sorry for late reply, Wei Nee
I searched myself from net and noticed that we can wash our dog's paws oftenly as this will wash out the oil produced by their body and this will lead to dry skin or other skin problem. Same with the bathing concept that v shouldnt bath a dog very frequent.
Can be the skin cleanser prescribe by vet used frequently? if can i may get 1 too since the naughty MiKi oso will lick her paws when she is boring
I think MiKi misses all her "old friends" here oso...

but currently i saw many new schnauzers "appear" in DPC

IMO, I see no harm in washing your dogs daily, if you have the patient and time

Most information we found on the internet are from the western countries, and their weather is different from us. Some might be applied to our weather but some not. I would say it depends on what shampoo you are using. Get those natural ingredient shampoo. The cheaper/normal shampoo usually contain cleaning agent that dries up skin and fur. For example SLS (sodium laureth sulfate) if you check our human product, cheaper product usually contain that

Hi All, "long time" didnt post here, hope u n ur little cutie are fine
I have a question here, my MiKi used to pee and poo on her toilet tray (this is good thing for me), but, the problem is, MiKi will have the "pee smell" on her paws, i think this is because she step on the toilet tray frequently. Although i clean her toilet tray every day, but doesnt help. Anyone has the same problem?
Planning to buy "Yu" brand dry shampoo to wash her paws, juz wan to know that, if i wash MiKi's paws using the dry shampoo every day will cause any skin problem on her?

Are you sure its pee smell and not yeast infection hmm.gif Yeast infection is very common for dogs, and it will have stronger smell on MS and also several other dog breed. Wet and humid creates the infection. Make sure Miki's feet is dry most of the time and that will help by reducing the yeast growth. If you go to the vet, usually they will suggest to shave the feet like poodle feet, but that looks so ugly on MS sweat.gif the best solution is still make sure the feet is clean and dry. Some dogs like to lick/chew their feet, and that helps the growth of the bacteria. So stop their licking/chewing bad habit.
Recently, vet told me a new product, I have personally tried but not as prescribe, need to use it daily and I just tend to forget cry.gif its a dusting powder, that you can apply on the feet to improve the "environment" and help to reduce the yeast growth. There are also cream for yeast infection that you have to use as treatment for at least 2 weeks.. but after all treatment, it still back to square one, make sure the feet is clean and dry nod.gif
