I have a Compaq Presario X1000 (S/N X1012AL) that I bought in 2004.
It is still in good condition and I am thinking since it's lagging a lil, I would like to upgrade the RAM and HDD.
It is currently running on 512MB and 30GB HDD

It is running on 2x 256MB DDR RAM and 30GB 2.5" HDD drive.
