yes 1st for eg u subscrive for wimax 1 year. then u return after 1 months u need to paid for remaining months 11 months rm99 X 11 . and the modem must be returned to HQ located at fedral highway. if modem faulty u will be charged for rm200++. but if ur contract expired then no ned returned modem but u need write in / go to HQ to terminated 1 month earlier . if failed to do so they will auto renew ur contract.

dude,
if ur new house does not have p1 connection; yet. i think u can officially write to P1 to request something like 'temporarily' de-activate ur account or sumthing.
maybe u can consult with MCMC for more clear guidelines.

A guy i know complaint till they terminate the account, with the promise that once the coverage reaches his area, they will give few months of free usage.

Really depends on how well you're able to negotiate.

Agreed on this one. When you moved on to your new house and discovered that there is no P1 coverage at the new housing area, you can go to HQ and insist to see the supervisor and explains your situation. One of my friend did that and he got off the contract with no penalty costs involved. smile.gif

after the completion of the 12 mth contract period. are they renew the contract in another 1 yr period. or they just like tm streamyx after the period, u can terminate the contract in the following month of any time as u want to do so.
