i was not working for 2 months.. in and out of cars and never experience any static shock until i returned back to work.. nothing happened in the office.. until i got out from my bro's car.. a little bit of shock when i was closing the door.. and when i am opening my house gate (stainless steel).. the next day.. when i got home.. i tried to be more careful when opening the gate.. i slowly put my fingers on the gate.. well.. i saw a spark..

Rewrap your car seat to leather or don't wear synthetic fibres like rayon, polyester etc when driving, the static is not coming from the car, it's coming from you, static charge on the car is difficult to build with our constantly humid air
now it make sense.. my mom's merc is with leather seating.. no static shock as far as i remembered.. but i always get it after i got down from cars with non-leather seating.. like those in myvi, kenari..
