Yup totally agree...Even if you change the entire window to DG glass,superb quality type of sliding or push out window its will help reduce noise abit might be around 20 to 30% the most?but those noise still coming thru ceiling,from kitchen,from door and etc etc.Do consider all the aspect before make decision as DG glass type window aint cheap here.Will cost a bomb.As for the noise cancelling properties - not only the glass thickness makes difference, but the quality of materials used for window frame itself.
