Hi there. newbie here. Just started to wear proper dress shoes. Would like to ask for some ideas.
2 weeks ago I bought a Clarks Chelsea Boot, brown leather. I let the store assistant measured both of my feet sizes and was informed my size is UK6.5/US7.5/EU 40. I was sitting when measurement was taken.
So I tried UK6.5 and a size larger UK7.5. At the time of fitting, both feel just fine. The store assistant told me this boot will expand over time, so better not get too loose. I also have view from youtube  videos advising go for a bit snug fit for Chelsea Boot since the rubber band will loose its elasticity over time and if it was already loose at the beginning, over time it will even worse.

So I took their advise and chose the UK6.5/US7.5, a size that I rarely choose, usually i go US8 or US9, simply due to want to get a non-painful fit. Of course there will be a lot of empty space, I was naive back then, I don't really care how it looks. But now I want better fitting.

So after I tried the new boot at office, about 2 hrs after i worn it, I can start to feel pressure point at both of my instep. As time progress this pain feeling is unbearable so I have to change to other temporary shoes.

I had seek a cobbler to help me stretch the shoes, but he only has the width stretcher, not instep stretcher, nonetheless I gave it a try since I have no other cobbler option known to me at that time offers stretching service. The result was helpless. Hardly feel any difference.

So I would like to ask:

1) Do you know a cobbler that has boot instep or vamp stretcher?
2) I actually already stop wearing it and posted it for sale. I wonder is there any shop that willing to buy an used Chelsea boot. I bought it with RM565. If I can sell it reasonably then I plan to get another pair with a size larger, or another design, cause i quite like the sole, soft and comfortable to me.
