gentlemen,

I wonder if you ever heard of the brand "Rad Russel London" ?

I saw it at Parkson Pavilion. upper and insole are leather, with leather-like soles. the shoes are with GYW construction at a promotion price of RM169.

I am planning to buy my first GYW shoes, but I still cant afford Church or C&J. Was surprise to see the shoes at such price, but its quite pointy tho.

Hi All,

I have been following this thread since last year,an finally purchased my first wingtip last month from Tangs. Its a dark brown brogue with Blake Construction, bought it at RM250 after discount.

I wanted to purchase a Florsheim initially after looking at the us$100 price tag in their website, but was really surprised to see that it actually costs Rm1.4k here in Malaysia. I saw this brogue at tangs that looks somewhat similar (the Florsheim is with Blake construction as well) and bought it.

Today I went to Kulitkraf, thinking of purchasing my first GYW shoes, but it was closed. Went to P.Lal, but the collections there are still way out of my budget (I am still studying so my budget is very tight).

Thanks to all Sifus for sharing your collections in here. Now I no longer wear clunky shoes found in most department stores. My brogue is no way comparable with any English GYW shoes, but I believe it is somewhat comparable with Florsheim, might be better, considering the price I pay for it.

I would like to ask a question. Is it better for me to use Kiwi polish or should I upgrade to something better, like Woly? How to actually get the shine you all did for your shoes?

Anyway, there is a shop in Amcorp Mall (top floor) selling few designer's shoes (Prada, Moreshi, Tods and Ferragamo) at 60% off. I saw a Prada Chelsea Boots going for RM800, but I believe its Stuck-On construction (rubber soles). Perhaps some of you might be interested? Oh, no LV there, sorry.

I love shoes and I hope that I will have the capacity to really look into it when I start working soon.

Thanks you guys for all the guidance! Cheers!

I saw in the newspaper last week (i think in star weekend) about bundle shop at Jalan TAR (open only for Raya season). So finally, I went to take a look today. here's what I found there:

1. C&J captoe with perfect upper and lining (90% condition), and GYW sole with Vibram. - RM25! laugh.gif but the size is 9.5, I wear 7 doh.gif
2. Stacy Adams Chelsea boots, mint condition (90%) - also Rm25 but size 10 doh.gif
3. Quite a number of Florsheim Imperial but all are either too small or too big for me . all at RM25!
4. Rockport leather sneakers (90% condition) - I bought this one at RM20 after some haggling. rclxm9.gif

But its all mixed up on a really huge table, so you need to really search for it. Open till Raya eve.

Next I went to Pavilion for some serious shopping. Got myself a bata wingting brogue (black) at RM140 after 50% disccount. Its 100% leather except for the sole (rubber), stuck on construction but heck, its RM140, so i think its highly tolerable, plus the quality of these high end bata are not the same as the normal Bata shoes we often see in normal Bata shops. Feels really solid.

Sadly, I still havent get back my smartphone. so no picture for the time being. I will post pictures the moment I get my phone back, by it wont by as nice as other collections in here. smile.gif

Cheers!
