You guys really have great taste in shoes. Any recommendation for newbies like me who plan to start but still lack of funds? Well I have to start somewhere right? laugh.gif

Just bought a pair of Florsheim Royal Imperial dress shoes, love at first sight, couldn't help it biggrin.gif

Since this is my first pair of proper dress shoes, I would like to ask where can I buy a good shoes tree for it, any idea? Was looking around ebay but not sure if they will fit properly. Would be nice if I can see it before buying myself.

I was just wondering with an outsole like that, would you be worried that rough surfaces will destroy the smooth outsole? Or are you just gonna wear it on carpet covered surfaces? Thanks. smile.gif

Haha yeah I suppose it would. I'd leave casual wearing to the cheaper and rubber soled shoes.
But then again, repairing/re-soling of a good pair of leather shoes is a part of the deal, no?

Sooo, I guess, just enjoy what you've spent on!

Well agreed, but cobblers in my area do a poor job on repairing/resoling leather shoes. That's why sometimes I'm reluctant to send my shoes to them. Oh well.... sweat.gif
