Bought a pair of brown Florsheim Imperial from website for RM250. Price on the bax from Parkson was RM1499.

how did you verify the authenticity for this one?

on another note, i heard that plal is stocking mostly cheaneys now, and that some of the shoes are slightly defective.

I'm getting 2 pairs of Florsheims for about USD$180 + USD$40 for shipping give and take, so I feel USD$110 for a pair of Florsheims is still cheaper than what I can get here

a 'decent' pair of shoes here is at least rm600

i know most of you wont be caught dead wearing shoes w/o leather soles, corrected leather etc, and i fully understand how good shoes are cheaper in the long run. in the meantime i cant spend more than rm300 for a pair, so that means i have to sacrifice somewhere. so for that money, what kind of sacrifice is the most 'forgivable' and what brand should i look for? any shoes with rubber soles and top-grain leather perhaps?

If you can top up by, say another 200, try heading to the florsheim store, some sizes or pairs may give you good discount

well the rule is dont use brown shoes with black suits. wear grey or navy suits instead, or stick with only black shoes

issue is it's two tone and grey ... just get a kiwi neutral wax (burn the tin) ... or you can go for mink oil ... better still go barber shop and ask to polish depending on usage ...

went to floorsheim to take a look and tried on a few of their shoes.. Their shoes are comfortable but is it overpriced in Malaysia?? I checked their website and it is only around $100 in the states and its RM 700++ down here...

The shoes on sale in Florsheim usually don't hv my size... and they will alw recommend me the new collections which are crazily overpriced...
