I think what you bought is factory seconds, i.e. shoes that do not pass the internal quality checks. The Cheaney pair i bought off PLal is the same, and the one in my size does not have any brands at all, but the same model in other sizes have Cheaney stamps and some are even in Prada stamps as Prada owned Cheaney for a while before selling them off.

Tod's is very over priced here. It is going for around 1,600 and above. If you go to Melium Outlet in Sungei Besi, you can get it for around 900+ but limited sizes and colours.

2k for meermin is definitely too expensive, even though you include shoe trees, cream. These can be bought separately and i suppose it won't add up to that high.
