Nearly bought a TedBaker but now thinking back, glad I didn't. It isn't cheap to start with and you can get better welted shoes for almost the same price or slightly more.
Most TB shoes have glued soles as well.

Try using a pair of cedar shoe trees. That would remove the odour and retain the shape of the shoes as well.
