want to share something...our companyman in my rig get usd1500 perday..huhu...age around 50+...good money in offshore..cheers..

my milage now is RM0.30/miles...S***!frequently drive from shah alam to KLIA..

yup..very sure about that..huhu..i'm also kind of "HUH!" at the 1st time...

my accountant advise me to use taxi rather than driving myself...not to oversea..hehe...KLIA-Kuantan-KLIA..2times a in a month...

yup mate..easy..easy...one of my friend was a Positioning Eng onboard of the vessel...got big money plus free tax...
always travelling...huhuhu...

But he was laid off during the recession time...enjoying the compensation money and now working with another positioning company and also based oversea...

Agree. With all those break time and plus some of the servicehand just working inside the cabin and sometime go to rig floor i.e MWD, DD (no offence), these guys drawing GOOOOD offshore allowance and fishing supervisor also got high offshore allowance... drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif

btw, i'm newbie from drilling contractor..just started, cant complaint...

hye all..do someone here have an information about average salary for engineer in Abu dhabi UAE, working in heavylifting industry with 3yrs experience? permanent position and accomodation is provided...thanks..

Just want to share...my friend joined slb in their seismic segment as Trainee Positioning Eng, get paid around usd3+++...not included allowances..

yup, you are so true my friend...Even in the consultant/design companies such as Technip also have Subsea Eng...But I would like to know monthly pay for Subsea engineer who work onboard of drilling rig (semi)...Who taking care of risers n subsea BOP....
