Degree holder in engineering

Working as sales engineer

Public bank : rm2,800 + mileage claim
EM Systems S/B : Rm2,300 + 1k allowance(not fix)
Dp Star : rm2,400 + 1k allowance (not fix)
Delcol : rm2,500 + 1k allowance (fixed)


From my past experience working in sales line....i can say that the salary is quite f***ed up even though u not fresh anymore. There still some other company offering me rm2k to rm2.2k

p/s : most of the employer asked me "dont u think ur basic quite high?"

well bro at least degree holder ma...give some face lo

interview 2-3 hour in the end told me rm2k....

my face terus black....

its true sales line earn by commission but dont know la...compare to those ppl working in banking line...commission based + high basic

insurance agent salary is depend on their networking n hard work...

i can tell u if u hardworking enough, 5 figure is not a matter....but if u new in this line, well u can barely earn 1-2k

bro is about opportunity, with diploma n getting 2.5k is very good pay

compare to me, u think ur salary aint that better?

Added on June 30, 2010, 2:33 amhard to justify bro, as i said even if u very hardworking, selling insurance also depend on ur networking, i believe u might come out from fresh. Ur customer only can target fren n family, relatives etc....

The chances they goin to buy i not sure, pretty low i guess....

Nevertheless sky is the limit, once u know the tactic everything, thing might easy for u....

I used to work as part timer, not very aggressive, managed to earn around 1k+ 1-3months time....

Its very subjective to confirm u a proper figure....if u still young it wont be harm for u to try

Basic + claim already about RM4k with good sales it would be so much more... RM2750 -___- i'm not a sales guy but my 1st job as a technical support i am already receiving 3k+...

basic 2300 + petrol 500+ hp 150 + car maintenance 200 + attendance allowance 100 + commission

Take note i only 2nd class...

hmm management trainee? in mortgage? seem HSBC or OCBC better offer =/

23 years old, fresh 2.6k basic, havent include some allowance...

i would say just in the middle, is good pay edi
