cgpa second class lower , just phone interview then offer me the position , maybe lack of man power -,-'

Just want to share...my friend joined slb in their seismic segment as Trainee Positioning Eng, get paid around usd3+++...not included allowances..

This is a very interesting thread. Very insightful. My only wish is that we all end up eventually working in the field that we truly enjoy.

Some questions to ponder:

1.What is your personal interest?/What do you love to do personally?
2.What is the reason you are in your current job?/Is money your prime motivation?
3.Do you think the dissatisfaction you are experiencing right now can be resolved with better pay?/ Have you ever had a job you were truly happy with?
4.Do you think there could be a job out there that matches your personal interest?/Do you think you can get paid for doing what you love?

It's ironic when sometimes we are 'trapped'. We work hard at a job we don't enjoy so we can pay for the home(or car) so that we get enough rest to go do the job we do not enjoy in the first place! There is no growth when you feel you are perpetually stuck.

Professional Certificates(CCNA, CompTIA Network+, EMCIE(NetWorker) and EMCTA(Backup and Recovery), CCSA and CCSE) with both EMCs' and Checkpoints' are company-sponsored certifications, while I myself is in the process of attaining ITILv3 on my own expense.
