Fresh grad for 3000. Oil & Gas? The fresh grads in my inductry only earning the most 2500, specialized industry.

Guess it depends on our luck too and which company we work in... We need to keep trying until we can get job with our desired figure.

think so..so if i got chance,i will try get experience from oversea 1st after i graduate(i studying in australia) then only back malaysia for higher chance of salary

ya i know..but working in australia getting more strict..is not easy to find job in aussie..local 1st then only others..
but no matter what i also need to back malaysia,so is no harm to get some experience before going back

nope. i think if u want to work here, u need at least working visa, temporary visa that let you work full time or PR..
they will first check whether your job or the course you took is in high demand or not and any company will hire you then only can let you apply for visa..plumber and carpenters? duno and not really care
but i still prefer my home country so i hope i can get experience at oversea first then only back to home country

In Malaysia, salary about

1.5- 2.7k is basic normal..
2.8k-5K just average good only..
If can get 6K -10k++ salary consider extra good/luxury abit.

My fren work as MAS pilot getting about RM20K mthly...
Another fren of mine as work as pilot with UAE get about USD18K monthly....
My salary?
Tech support work  - RM5k mthly
Stock div - RM 1k mthly

Stock profit - uncertain.. dpd.. sumtimes even higher than my mthly salary..
So those earn less  salary, can try safe money and learn to invest to make ur money grow faster.

Its depends on ur investment plan and holding power.
For newcomer, its better to invest in strong defensive with div counters.
Better spend some time to understand all the types of stock available and learn from experienced investors or stock brokers.
Once u have knowledge then only go invest. You need to get real life trading experience.... u cant just learn from book or stock games...

Every mth, more than 50% of my salary will go into stocks.. the more units i buy, the more div i get.
If the share price goes up, more profits.
So far i've invest for abt 5 yrs+ and the returns is very good... more the 400% from my capitals.

If i put FD.. each year about 4%... 5 yrs.. 20% returns only..
so investment is a very good way to grow ur $$.

Hi all, how bout my description....but im totally not agreed with this kind of pay...really low n i ald went to Indonesia to do the commissioning there...about 3 months and 7 days a week!..i dun have any extra allowances such as travel n car allowance...just claim only...huhuhuhu.... For me...as MNC company...allowances is not a big issue...but im quite dissatisfied with this company...

EM Systems S/B : Rm2,300 + 1k allowance(not fix)
Dp Star : rm2,400 + 1k allowance (not fix)
Delcol : rm2,500 + 1k allowance (fixed)
From my past experience working in sales line....i can say that the salary is quite f***ed up even though u not fresh anymore. There still some other company offering me rm2k to rm2.2k

p/s : most of the employer asked me "dont u think ur basic quite high?"

interview 2-3 hour in the end told me rm2k....

my face terus black....

its true sales line earn by commission but dont know la...compare to those ppl working in banking line...commission based + high basic

Salary : RM 2000 (Basic) + RM250 (Shift Allowance)

Note: Probation period is 3 months (might even be shorter if I perform well). After probation, my salary will be increased RM200 ~ RM300. After 6 months of my commencement date (or in other words, after confirmation), my shift allowance would be doubled-up (around RM500+-)

Working Hours: 7.30am ~ 7.30pm (3 days work, 3 days off, 3 days work, 3 days off ~ 15 working days only per month)

What do you guys think about the salary? One thing that I know is that I can save up on meals (I will eat lunch for only 8 days, as for the rest 7 days, I can tapau from home since I would be working night shift), petrol and tolls.

Those company have a range. So if you ask lower than that, they will revise to match up with their company's range. That usually happy to big co/ MNC co. They don't want you later found out the same staff you getting RM1-2k lower than them...

I've sent her to training, seminar, expo and she enjoy the exposure. SInce the company is small, normally i'll approved the event that she proposed. If she is not happy with the offer or company and want to jump, no choice but let go. But, I have to say a fresh graduate can't demand so much until you show your performance and working attitude.

Haha...actually not I demand for high grade for my staff. But, you will choose candidate with CGPA 3.65 or candidate with CGPA 3.25 if both also accept your RM1700 as basic salary? I think most ppl have the same answer, right?

RM2000 basic for a fresh graduate consider underpaid? If this basic is net pay then consider is underpaid, but I still offer allowance (RM350 allowance), petrol claim (limit to RM500/month) and commission (0.4% on sales), she follow up current sales value about RM100K / month, total pay is about RM2000 + RM350 allowance + RM400 commission = RM2750/month. But,she only start to entitle for the commission after her 6 month probation, so now she already entitled for this commission. I think this package for a fresh graduate is acceptable. I still remember when I start my sales career with this company, I don't have existing customer account and start to build from ZERO la...

RM1700 not the net pay, just the basic salary...now increased to RM2000 basic, still underpaid? Ok, might consider have a good yearly increament for her. Hm..so far she is quite enjoy because I give her free hand to do everything. Sigh..maybe too long din update myself for the salary market.
