my first paycheck is only 2.2k....as an engineer in KL. With one of the Biggest construction company in Malaysia. Well, i still survive, it depends on ur lifestyle.
*
Earning 3k in KL is not really very common. It'll be too general to say so. Would you perhaps mean fresh grads who perhaps got their first job in KL begin their salary with 3k, is that normal?

It's really a 50 50.

Those with somewhat minimal exp of 1 - 2 years, usually less than half stay in KL.

Not everyone can tolerate the fast pace life.

And I can vouch for jitshiong - it all boils down to what sorta person you are, what sorta lifestyle you lead.

You a geek? Bookworm? Or a party person?

just to compare a little out of the box scene.. a foreign labour who works as site supervisor earns RM 3,500.00 per MONTH....

yes.... those banglas, indons is earning up to 3k... PER MONTH... as fabricators....

when is this updated? last month

which makes me wonder is going to tertiary education the way out of financial rat race?

my friends who stopped studying at SPM evel is earning up to 7-8K per month as carpenter in KL... yeah, those ah beng that you call on to fix your cabinet
*
Terteriary education is NOT necessary the way out of the financial race.

Heck I've got a close buddy who haven't even finished SPM but with his determination and hard work, he even earns triple to what I earn. sad.gif

Yet you can see the mentality or the maturity of someone who has education and someone who doesn't.

Everything has a pro and con to it.
