Been working in the same company since I graduated, joined as a supervisor, made my way up to Manager level as the most tempting perk is the stock options.

Well, if according to cronological order it was from Supervisor -> Sen Supervisor -> Executive -> Manager. There was no executive in the Dept until I was promoted. When I was promoted to Manager Level, my manager was actually asked to take over the Testing Lab operations while I took over the whole QC Dept.

Its part of life. You are going to have to deal with it. Many companies are like that and I have been in such company's and I left.

To me, since you have a family, you should be thinking this way. How will it help your family in the future if you continue to stay in your current job? Would you not like to provide a better living for your family? Not sure how old are your children, but based on your current earnings, when your children pursue's their tertiary education, you are going to be in a pinch even if you send them to local uni / college

This is exactly why we have alot of kiosks in mall with inattentive sales personnel.

My mom started her business with a kiosk, with the help of my sister.

Estimation gross profit is about 10-20k per month...

Then...expansion...

Now...2 shops with most of the stocks belong to herself...
