Yes, I'm learning as much as I could on my new role, and aim to get a huge pay raise on my next job.

move on. i doubt u can get rm900 increase from ur current comp in 2 yrs time.
Yeah, I doubt so too... the only reason I'm staying (for now) is because I like my job and better career advancement in my next job.

Well how do you see your current company in a year or two? Do you think it will grow and expand? Or would it stay stagnant? With your experience, I think you can fetch at least RM3.5k to RM4k or even more if you are lucky if you jump.
But reality-wise it's best to start searching for greener pastures while the current one is drying up.

Its sad to say that I dont see my company will be able to improve in 1-2 years... they've been cutting cost and restructuring since 2 years ago...

Its a tough choice for me now, since I'm debating between career (learn more things so I can take better job in future) and $$$.
My current plan is to stay for few months (max until end of this year), for me to learn as much as i could while doing my best to stabilize and streamline things that I just took over before leaving.
** if not due to org change and my role got changed to something that I like, I'd be leaving now...

bad timing again...

28 yr old all earn 5K liao. dun be so short sight aim for 3.5K.
Its sad when comparing salary among others around my age... I think the only way for me to get 5k salary by 28 is going to work in SG then take money back here.
