Wow, everyone's dolls look so lovely *_*
I've been interested in getting one for years now but never had the money to buy them (student = very poor orz), but I'll probably manage to get one within this year =p I wanted to register for the Den of Angels forum to find out more info and do some research before choosing which doll to get, but it's currently invitation only =\ I would really appreciate it if any of you who have an account there could send me an invite ^-^

Hi Kryseis, save up slowly and you'll eventually save up enough for one smile.gif I know my friend and I both saved up for about 2-3 years before we managed to get our first kid ^^

If you're interested in getting an account on DoA, PM me your email and I'll send you an invite smile.gif

Thank you mystical_goddess, I appreciate it very much biggrin.gif

Yea, I've been saving, hoping to get one by this year xD By the way, did you have to pay for customs when you got yours? I'm kinda worried they'll hold it up for a long time and charge an unreasonable amount of tax ._.

sent you an invite smile.gif Have fun!

So far I've never had issues with customs (cause mine went through Singapore through a friend) but from what I hear, it depends on how much the seller marks the parcel (USD300 and above will be taxed if I'm not mistaken) and depends on your luck too at times happy.gif

Here's little Luna this time smile.gif

Received it, thanks smile.gif

Luna looks so lovely, as does Alex =D Is that your own face up or the default one? And how many kids do you own? xD

Ah thanks for your input regarding customs, I hope the seller is willing to mark down the price haha. I wouldn't want to spend hundreds on tax ._.

Ahaha thanks, they're meant to be together after all smile.gif

Hurm, not much I suppose...I rarely spend on clothes for them which is bad, but I do make props and accessories for them which is good *laughs* still trying to learn how to sew lol.

Here's their manufacturer+sculpt details:

Alex: Angel Fantasy Lily
Sebastian: Custom House Little Junior Marco
Luna: Custom House Ange Ai Gaby
Qwerty: Dollzone BB Leo

smile.gif

Fair warning, Custom House DO offer cheaper range of dolls (due to constant sales promo) but waiting period is horrible. It took me 8-9 months to get Sebastian home lol. I know some doll owners have yet to get theirs...and they ordered waaay before me =_=;;

if you want cheaper maybe you can look for secondhand 1..but if new 1 normally bought from different website as all the doll are different kinds...buy from the company site that you prefer....

they are alot actually......

you can try this website..i found out this website was quite useful...since it list out all the company name from different country and you also able to locate ebay vendors here as well..beside of that..you are able to located anything related to bjd as well in this site...including forum, doll show and event, useful bjd information...and even any promotion and sale event organize by different bjd company will be listed here...

Hi zeonczk, unfortunately there's no BJD shop in Malaysia currently; we usually get ours via online or look for secondhand dolls for sale smile.gif I think I've mentioned this in the previous page so you can check it out from there? happy.gif

mystical_goddess : Yea their clothes and wigs are rather expensive aren't they ._. Enough to buy clothes and wigs for ourselves xD;; But it's funny, I think I'd be willing to spend on their clothes but not on myself haha. Good luck with your sewing =D I checked out Custom House but apparently all their dolls are currently sold out o_O I can't imagine having to wait so long for the doll orz Thanks for the warning ^^

zeonczk : I don't think there are any shops selling these dolls here in Malaysia, but here's a site with extensive links for where to buy them online -
http://helene-faceup.livejournal.com/15789.html

Personally I like Dream of Doll and Iplehouse sculpts, but they're pretty expensive =\ I'm planning to get one from Blue Blood Dolls since the price is really reasonable, and the reviews about the seller and doll quality has been good too =)
