hi all,

I was playing lost odyssey with my Xbox on my sharp 37: LCD with no HD ready. Forgot the model and what happened is when i was playing i found the screen often change to dark and when i approach object or something the screen will change back to bright. Its seems like the screen keep idling i dont know why . this is quite annoying because it sores my eye. I played other game also found same problem. Is this related to my Xbox or my lcd? Anyone facing same problem? how do i solve it?

Btw im using HDMI cable

think you need to adjust the setting either in xbox or your lcd

in xbox try 720p instead of 1080p

Sharp calls it OPC. Nothing wrong with TV.

It is either the OPC setting or the Screen saver mode on your sharp LCD. try to turn off both feature under setting.

if u mean u "approach object" in real world instead of game, then its definitely OPC. OPC adjust ur screen brightness with a sensor infront of the panel. if u block lights going towards it, screen will become darker.
