Oic. An honour to be one of the charismatics u know. haha. Actually the real definitive of a Christian is one who lives and walks and follows in Jesus' footsteps. As in a believer of God and who loves and keeps God's commandments. The RC however was the Christian faith, taken and re-made by the Roman Emperor Constantine (if my history is correct) tat after Jesus' time, he made it his own religion so that the Romans have an extra god to worship. As u knw, Romans rely heavily on worshiping gods. But already in God's very own First Commandments : You shall not have any other gods or worship other gods but Me.

So.......thats basically how RC came into being. wont talk much abt it tho. Its a pretty sensitive issue. But its the truth no matter what.

RC worship also the Virgin Mary and the Apostles (which they refer to as Saints) of the bible. However it is already mentioned that God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are only to be worshiped. 1st Commandment. Breaking that commandment is a sin. No one else asides the Trinity God is to be on the worship list. They believe Mary is worthy to be worshiped bcoz she was given a holy pregnancy while still a virgin and carried baby Jesus. But other than that, she is still only HUMAN. Not a god status.

Its not jsut the old testament. Its the whole Bible that should be read thoroughly , understood correctly and followed correctly. The old testament was the initial laws that God had to impose due to the severe sin that predominated the people (homosexuality, murder etc). In other words, He was teaching the people then how to behave well as best possible. Sin is not limited to murder or big crimes. Sin just simply means "you dont follow what God says".

The new testament is God's new way of dealing with sin, which is Jesus dying on the cross carrying all our sins (our refering to the world, not just the Christians). He basically simply made a way for the people to be able to give and trade the sins with God's forgiveness which before Jesus came, was a really hard way to get it. And it also is one of God's way to tell the world how to live as in the times to come. =)

Remember i said God is a Trinity God. You notice we dont say " In the nameS of the bla bla bla". But it is said as "In the NAME of the Father Son n Holy Spirit". It has 3 names yet its singularly identified. This is whats special about God. He is 3 in 1. Much like Milo 3 in 1. He has attributes of God the Father who cares and is the Creator, and Jesus the Saviour, and the helper which is the Holy Spirit. It may be hard to visualize abit. Think of it as this analogy : You take play dough, and rip it to 3 parts. Their characteristics, chemical composition, etc are the same, just that they are seperated for a different USE. Now God is that way. He is One yet in 3 different appearences. God is God in heaven. But God had to detach Himself to become Jesus on earth so that He can pay all our debts of sin. Only God can remove sin. But the only way to remove it is by Him taking our sins and dying for it.

In the Bible it is clearly written : The consequences of sin is death.

So God took the ultimate way of saving our souls, coz after all, He doesnt want to see us perish in hell. Can get it this far? Do ask more i dont mind at all =)

So we arent worshiping 3 seperate Gods. We are woshiping God who has 3 main personalities =)

The Old Testament was before Jesus came. The New Testament is when Jesus came and died on the cross. If you must know, testament means Covenant. Covenant means a lifetime agreement.

That idea of sin is not mine. It its what God says it is. Sin simply means not following what God says. And if we dont obey what He says, its sin, punishable by death. Not that God is cruel, but He keeps to His word. Do wrong I cane you. You do as I say I will be happy. But God doesnt want to cane us. He rather see us happy by forgiving us. But the thing is, we humans sometimes dont want to ask of it. Its not His problem. It has always been our problem.

The Bible is a God inspired Book. Dont think that God wrote the book and dropped it down from the sky then Adam and Eve picked it up and read it as a bed time story to their sons Abel and Cain. No.

The bible is actually a collection of letters, accounts, writings, poems, advices, testimonies, from the time of Moses till the time of John. In essence it is a collection of manuscripts. The Bible was written over a period of 1400 to 1800 years by more than 40 different authors in different languages. The Bible is a compilation of 66 separate books, divided into two primary divisions: the Old Testament (containing 39 books) and the New Testament (containing 27 books)

The amazing thing? Despite being recopied over and over from ancient times in many languages by 40 different authors, the facts and figures of the bible are still accurate and never conflicted. This is the miracle of the bible in terms of archeological and historical find.

Actually religion is not necessary. Many have tried to be religious. Doesnt get them far. Religion means following a set of rules and traditions to achieve and be closer to god. But Christianity izint a religion. Its a relationship. A relationship with God. If you read the whole Bible, every person that encountered God had a close loving relationship with Him. Same with Jesus. He did not come first to give instructions, but He came to serve and to love. God wasnt here for those who seem righteous or tried to show Him whose the most religious humble holy man. God came for those who had nothing on them but their hearts which were broken, lives torn apart and deserted.

The main problem is : God is offering the love. People just dont want to take it. Another side of God's love is , He respects our decision. He gave humans the freewill to choose. If a BF dont give the GF freewill to choose, dont you think thats a little bit wrong? So if the people chose to abandon God, He cant do anything. He goes as His word says. But He does want us to turn around so much.

The BIBLE part was a made up la folks........i already said earlier in the post what the bible actually is. The BIBILE was just an add on to make it more lighter. Not saying i disrespect the bible, just just a fun way to look at it. =)

Btw the play dough analogy might have been a bit poor. My artistic mind has always been poor. =P
