I wanna buy a Wii but I've got questions...

1. How much is it in the market now? From Amazon.com, it's approx ~RM1250 for Wii, Wii Fit, and Nun-chuck. Is that worth it?
2. What games come with Wii Fit? Does it include the snowboarding one?
3. I have a 42" Plasma TV. How far should I stand/sit to play Wii?
4. Can Wii output in HD?
5. What good games to recommend?

Anyone care to help?

3. Nintendo Wii recommend to stay between 3ft-10ft from the sensor bar. Further or shorter than that it will reception problem.
4. Maximum resolution for Wii is 720p via component cables
5. Normally there are a few titles that consider a standard must buy for wii. Wii Sports, Mario Galaxy are two of them. You might want to youtube for the ingame movies first to check if it meets your requirement.

haha, gundam spotted a myth?XD

anyways, the best resolution is at 480p, anything more than it is via dolphin...if you don't know what it is...it doesn't really matter...XD

The price you quoted is quite expensive. I bought my Wii recently for 700 and the Wii Balance Board without the Wii fit for 250. The nunchuck come with the Wii set, there is no need to get an extra nunchuck unless you are getting yourself an extra Wiimote.

I suggest you get the Wii Balance Board alone since IMO the Wii Fit is just a waste of money. Instead buy We Ski and Snowboard. It's very fun. Be careful though, We Ski comes just with the Ski game, but We Ski and Snowboard comes with the snowboard game too.

Since you're already willing to spend 1200+, and you have a 42 inch plasma, I suggest you buy the Wii Motion Plus together with Virtua Tennis 2009. It's superb.

One game that is pretty fun is Wii Sports Resort, my mother plays that more that I do biggrin.gif . I sweat every time I play this game, really love it for the mini workout.

If you buy US version of Wii it will have free copy of Wii Sports, but if not US version, don't bother with Wii Sports lah, just get Wii Sports Resort, it is better, has 12 sports games inside and includes a free addon for the wiimote called Wii Motion Plus.

For top wii games checkout the graphs at www.vgchartz.com
