Synopsis: The ancient kingdom of Parro has been invaded by the armies of Mongaul, and its king and queen have been slain. But the "twin pearls of Parro," the princess Rinda and the prince Remus, escape using a strange device hidden in the palace. Lost in the Forest of Rood, they are rescued from Mongaul soldiers by a strange leopard-headed man named Guin, who has no memories except for the word "Aurra." this is a interesting fantasy adventure type of anime..it is somewhat similar to Utawarerumono where the main character lost his memory but have a potential leadership to lead an army to victory. Despite, using alot of made-up god names and the main character looks like King from Tekken, its pretty good.

I love this series up until the part where the long haired dude came back. Loved the beginning, loved the desert war, but hated the long haired dude and the bard.
Awesome soundtrack. Superb ED. 4 our of 5 stars (1 star because of the long haired dude and the singing dude).

So I finally watched this series. Good development, seemed rushed in some places, has epic feel, large scale battles, character development, political intrigue and a huge cast of characters. Like Legend of Galactic Heroes but set in a fantasy setting. The ending had me at "wtf", so I looked up wiki and turns out the anime is based on a series of works with the world record of 126 light novel volumes and 21 side-story novels. And the anime covers like only 16 volumes of it. And there is no second season announced. And the author died recently before completing the 130th volume, so there is really no end in sight. GG.
