Don't forget Spearing and Degen. Aurelio maybe will play too to find match fitness.

Babel shows us something today. That HE CAN ONLY PLAY AS A SUB!! (even commentator said it..)

Good play except for some selfish moves but overall, he's good. Nice 1st goal and lucky 2nd goal but hey, we need luck to win right?

We Liverpool fans are like minority compared to United fans here in Malaysia. That's why I prefer to stay at home watching rather than searching for a mamak. Only going out if there is definite big Liverpool match.

bro, if u wanna know, all mamak in malaysia is mufc's die hard fan.. hehe
but if u dun mind for distance, go to KJ area somewhere around giant KJ got lfc mamak supporter there.
i forgot the mamak name, but that area always open lfc match.

2nd backup plan, just scold the mamak to switch to lfc match channel. they won't mind at all. hehehe...

Don't be too confident. Chelsea always fight for their red cards and always win them. Until then, just pray that they'll lose their appeal (most probably will be done).

If they lose Cech, it lighten the burden on us.
But I prefer we beat them when they have full squad, so there will be no ugly yell "no cech can lorr..."

Win is the most important part. Whether Cech is there or not. Losing is not an option.

lets not overjoy our winning yesterday...we got Chelsea and Manu next...minimize the error and hoping for the best....

Enjoy while you can!!

But yeah, looking at our next fixtures, this Oct gonna be hell for us.

One game at a time.

Fiorentina is not easy. They losing Gillardino is a good news but never underestimate them. They've been winning except for the unfortunate clash with Lyon last 2 weeks.

Talking about BPL, getting draws with Chelsea and United are somehow a good news for me, but win against them are obviously better. But lets not forget about Arsenal, they are sneaky.

Carra and Skrtel are ok for now. It's risky to put match unfit Agger straight into our backline. What we need is how to contain their midfield. The obvious answer is bring back Masch into the team means Gerrard have to play behind Torres again because there is no way Rafa will rest Lucas out from the match. And both our wingback Glen and Insua have to be more careful going forward making empty space at the back where Malouda can easily penetrate with his pace.

Drogba and Anelka are truly frightening. But lets see how it goes with Fiorentina first, then we can talk about Chelsea.

Bring them.. But if they act like 'typical' devils, prepare to be thrown by everything we can find on the table. biggrin.gif

We just need to see Aurelio's performance tonight before we make any conclusion who is the best between Insua and him for Chelsea's match.

There are 3 players not seen on field. Lucas, Aurelio and Insua.

Lucas - Keep losing possession.
Aurelio - Drawing back too much making attacking null.
Insua - Apart from stupid ref offside, he's pretty bad tonight.

Not to mention Carra and Skrtel fighting at the same spot, again and again. Benny with 'headless chicken' running changing spot with Kuyt making even their own team confused.

Fiorentina is better side for now. They close down with 3 people. Running non stop. Good passing and ball distribution. And 2 'lucky' goals.

Commentator said about us missing Masch, do we? YES WE DO! and please omit under-performed Lucas for now. But unfortunately he's injured..

The important part is we win, no matter how the tactics were. So as long as we keep winning, I don't care how Rafa gonna put the players on the field.

We are somehow lucky because this is 'just another group stage match', means we can bounce back later. If this is a BPL match? I wonder how many of you will be devastated with this result.

Everyone is to blame. Even Gerrard made simple mistakes such as poor first touch. Torres is dead because no support from midfield. Benny is lost. Lucas is back to his old form. Insua bad at defending or at crossing. Carra-Skrtel pair had gone from bad to worse. Others, worthless to mention.

On the bright side, the match doesn't have any yellow card flying and our players leave the pitch unscathed. But morally, I think I shouldn't bring this up..

The worst in last night's game was the midfield area. They keep losing possession, no attempt to bring the ball forward, being pressed like crazy and too depending on centre attacking. This made our back exposed and looking at our Carra-Skrtel mistakes-prone partnership lately, Reina had little to do to defend from those 2 goals.

Disoriented, unorganized, low on morale, bad positioning, weak.

I told all of you before, don't underestimate Fiorentina. All the discussion was about Chelsea only..No one want to talk about Fiorentina..

Yes they are indeed a very good team. They are consistent, making many wins for all I know except for one unfortunate loss against Lyon. And looking at the results (Liv 1-0 Deb, Lyo 4-0 Deb, Lyo 1-0 Fio, Liv 0-2 Fio), the conclusion is, Lyon is the strongest team in the group. So either we have to step up in our game or another loss is inevitable.

Enough talk about CL. Now back to our main priority, which is BPL against Chelsea this Sunday. How can we improve and what lack Chelsea have that we can exploit..

Everyone except Reina are sucks... well, he doesn't have to do that much.

Defending: really2 bad. While we may keep them at bay for this match, we still make a hole or two and they made a very good use of them.

Midfield: defending wise, good if not great. attacking wise, were they?

Forwards: Bad. Not making space, maybe of their tight defense. Shooting, no chances at all. Run with the ball, crazy? with 3 people keeping up with Torres alone, no target man. Wingers, super bad. No even decent crosses or beating defenders.

To sums it up, we sucks tonight. Chelsea were not great but they still can get 2 goals from us.

Ok. next?

Looking at these, the pressure is building up for our Aquilani to perform the best. Or he will be shot down like Lucas too..poor him.
