Remember, Alonso performed badly, while Barry had one of the best seasons ever. Can you really blame Rafa for considering replacing Alonso with him? It is not Rafa's job to have faith, it is his job to pick the formation, tactics et al to win.

The team steamrolled everyone in the league towards the end of last season, and we were so proud of the team. Now, 9 games in and we are calling for the manager's head. Fickle.

Last season, I thought we going the right direction. Unfortunately this season is the other way around. Like it or not, I don't know why we sell alonso for some player who can't gurantee his performance. If we sell bcoz we want to get some one better than alonso, then fine. I just can't find any good reason. Need money? How much we earn or save after alonso and our new purchase?
Do we have any young players who can really play good football? We buy many young players but then can't preform, what is the point? No plan no direction.
Yes we lost, but how we lost? Play badly and lost or we play well but no luck to score?
I don't see we are glory hunter just bcoz some comment on Rafa. They just comment on how he handles the team with such resources. being a fan, i like to be realistic about our chances this weekend.

no, its not to dampen the mood before the match, i call it viewing it from an open perspective. most of us know we're in a rut, but then again MU isn't too hot either (they are top of teh league now) as they have been "grinding out results" not winning them comfortably. as it is seen over the last few weeks, we are actually in very very favorable terms to win this one at Anfield.

Key men aside, we still can do this if and only if the squad shows the determination of a winning team. hard tackles, going for the ball, taking chances, attacking while drawing up enough energy to defend well. these has been lacking of late. now, if Rafa and the squad has what it takes to turn all the bad runs around it would be inspiring. when they show up at Anfield in the weekend, they should be driven not by the manager or coach, but by the sense of urgency that should be coursing through their veins.

every team can be a good team, it takes a turnaround losing side that everyone has written off to be a Great team and we have done it before and we will no doubt do it again. whether its against their main rivals or any team, they just have to.
