Oh, that's right. Rafa's the one earning thousands of pounds per week managing this team. He is the one making the decisions while we sit behind the TV criticising his decisions. Remember, Alonso performed badly, while Barry had one of the best seasons ever. Can you really blame Rafa for considering replacing Alonso with him? It is not Rafa's job to have faith, it is his job to pick the formation, tactics et al to win.

The team steamrolled everyone in the league towards the end of last season, and we were so proud of the team. Now, 9 games in and we are calling for the manager's head. Fickle.

that's right, and that makes no difference with glory hunter... i tot liverpool's fans are not supposed to be like that...

I agree with you, stats tell nuts about players but results and standings dont lie. Right?

Fair enough you watch them more, you know more.  Good for you.

Rumors my friend.  We've got a gem from MU i dont read any reliable news we are interested to sign Agger/ Mascherano.
*
well, the major reason for leaking goals is the lack of control in midfield.. you can't blame agger/skrtel/carra much when opponents have so many chances of pushing forward due to the absence of controlling midfield... i do agree that our CB duo are performing badly from the start of the season, but they are doing better than better now... at least no more silly mistakes from carragher...

the biggest problem now is the man who partner mascherano... lucas is not an effective solution, he just doesn't fit the team well... we nit the likes like Xavi/Xabi who can deliver accurate passes or Ballack/Essien who will make sure that the ball hardly slips to the opponent...

honestly, i don't think our club has any chance of grabbing the titles this season... i hope that benitez is willing to make a big change and start to focus more on training our youth players to step up rather than to headache for seasons later, especially when the english quota rule will start to get even stricter...

So you are proud that great players only can get you to a runner-up placing?
Also, you have to compare them to the 2 older players? Fair?
Why not Vermaelen or Vidic?  blush.gif

I'll welcome Mascherano if that is true. Like what reiben05 said, he is a monstaaa brows.gif

Thanks for complimenting Yaya but i like to have Robinho more. rclxms.gif

Arsenal - Long established scouting staff. Good sponsorship. Stadium capacity 60355.
Chelsea - A god damn rich boss.
Man Utd - Very long established managerial team. High value of sponsorship. Stadium capacity 76212. Have total control of his squad. Have referee's love on the field.
Barcelona - Stadium capacity 98772. Has a boss who is willing to spend 40mil+eto'o to get ibrahimovic of same level.
Real Madrid - Club is willing to do anything to get the best of the best into the team.

Liverpool - Poor bosses who even have internal conflicts among themselves. Low value of sponsorship. Stadium capacity 45362. Manager has just successfully gained total control of his squad after five years of managing.

Judging from the facts above, i'm surprised that we can get that runner-up last year...

Hi newbie, EURO M is different from POUND M.

Anyway,we only paid 10m because they owed us 8m

In other words, our summer spending is  4m pound for Aquilani + 10m Johnson + 2m Kyrgiakos

Sold out around 37m pound, used 16m pound.

Installments to date, we paid 4m.That's fact.
You are hopeless.  doh.gif The fact that you pay in future means that doesn't affect your budget in summer because you dont pay it now.  doh.gif

Another thing, you just wont give it a rest huh? Keep bugging and bugging and when people show you information about it, you just said "I'm not interested to know the account of your team. " even though you know you are wrong when you said
It's clearly the money didn't get back to transfer kitty which is why I show you the account. You are making yourself look like a loser and honestly, dont continue it any further. You just keep showing how pathetic you are.

Haha so the debate went into day 2... sorry sols for not helping much smile.gif

I can u'stand why they are so many ppl who like to add salt to the wound doh.gif
Fear. Everyone fears us that they want us to relegate so sickly.

Why we support Rafa? You believe him he can deliver? or he is truely a liverpool man who can plan and think for our future?
Last season, I thought we going the right direction. Unfortunately this season is the other way around. Like it or not, I don't know why we sell alonso for some player who can't gurantee his performance. If we sell bcoz we want to get some one better than alonso, then fine. I just can't find any good reason. Need money? How much we earn or save after alonso and our new purchase?
Do we have any young players who can really play good football? We buy many young players but then can't preform, what is the point? No plan no direction.
Yes we lost, but how we lost? Play badly and lost or we play well but no luck to score?
I don't see we are glory hunter just bcoz some comment on Rafa. They just comment on how he handles the team with such resources. At least they don't say we should buy top class players like MC or Chelsea or RM. Just like Barcelona, they don't just simply buy buy to win. At least those players were with them long time since young.
Let we judge how the team heading. Let see the morning match.

I rather see these series of unlucky injuries and losses as the base for rebirth of the club... Seriously now rafa will have to train more youngsters forcefully (maybe not him anymore after this weekend) and led them to fight their best for a CL position this season... Rebirth for next season...

This season's is over rationally, but i'm prepare for any surprises that they can give! the period about feb/march is the true peak of our form usually!

being a fan, i like to be realistic about our chances this weekend.

no, its not to dampen the mood before the match, i call it viewing it from an open perspective. most of us know we're in a rut, but then again MU isn't too hot either (they are top of teh league now) as they have been "grinding out results" not winning them comfortably. as it is seen over the last few weeks, we are actually in very very favorable terms to win this one at Anfield.

Key men aside, we still can do this if and only if the squad shows the determination of a winning team. hard tackles, going for the ball, taking chances, attacking while drawing up enough energy to defend well. these has been lacking of late. now, if Rafa and the squad has what it takes to turn all the bad runs around it would be inspiring. when they show up at Anfield in the weekend, they should be driven not by the manager or coach, but by the sense of urgency that should be coursing through their veins.

every team can be a good team, it takes a turnaround losing side that everyone has written off to be a Great team and we have done it before and we will no doubt do it again. whether its against their main rivals or any team, they just have to.

enjoy the game come sunday my friends and we'll still stand by our team's side no matter what come end of the season.

You'll Never Walk Alone.

I believe the squad now has enough determination to win the game... Benitez is trying to drag them to near hell and then revive them...

There, this old hag has the audacity to say this.Vidic could be easily sent off before that 90minutes red card at Anfield last season. And at old toilet, the scene where he dragged Torres down in penalty box in 1st half should already sent him off instead of the 70minutes grabbing Gerrard's private part incident.
