Depend on board.
1. The 1st ram always in 1st slot.
2. Look on your manual. Which slots yield dual channel.

But in XtremeSystems forum, people claimed that as long as the vDimm minus vTT not more than 0.5v should be fine. smile.gif

That is not confirmed. But it is better to keep 1.65v vDimm under 24/7 basis. smile.gif
