There is one BIOS setting, named 'CPU Tweak'. With that setting enabled I could get the same time as I did that one, but with full Windows services and Windows themes running. The NB could run at 3GHz but weirdly it won't run it today, I could get it run last night and get a good low latency and high bandwidth from Everest. Maybe tomorrow. I even tried 400x9 but I didn't check the PI time, just test for stability and it failed. Maybe tomorrow

iirc smaller capacity gives better result. for instance, 2 * 1gb should be faster than 2 * 2gb because of d latency between memory chips.

theoretically dc should be faster than sc, but we all knew that not all modules have d same capability, so it depends on by how far a stick is better than another. if d better stick is alot more better, then it mite overtake d advantage of dc had over sc.

*experts pls correct me if i'm wrong.

os tweakin is more important in ya case. if u really wanna have d advantage from d hw, try cas6 instead. it mite help...

for 3000Mhz you need at least 1.52V to make the IMC stable!

i tried all the tweak i google..but certain things have no effect at all eg: stop explorer.exe and set the superpi to realtime...(only tested with 1m)

Most say XP/2003 is better but mine Windows 7 is faster
