Heyguys any of you get the TomTom application yet?? How much it cost for the Iphone version?
*
there's no Asia map yet for tomtom as far as i know.. the average costs is around $100++ .. check itunes..
it's better to get a gps device rather than the software.. if any of your frens/relative in US..u can easily get a cheap one in fry's electronics..

Am still using google maps only.. found it enough to locate unknown destinations.. but have to stop at the road side to check the map everytime.. icon_rolleyes.gif

@Urban,
As gunnerstkd mentioned TomTom hasn't released their Asia version. They've almost covered the entire world except this region tongue.gif

And averagely, it's about US$80 not US$100++ tongue.gif Just do a search on the App Store for TomTom and you'll see all the different available maps and its respective prices biggrin.gif

I agree, kinda regret as now unable to revert back. Mine crashed as soon as I tapped on the "Chat" icon.
Lots of discussion regarding v3.0:

So far I haven't experience any big issue on Facebook 3.0
It does what it says and is really a great update.
Much more user friendly and better performance.

These are the upcoming features in Facebook 3.1

- Contacts sync between Facebook friends list and phone's contact list
- Push notification
- Saved, site-wide search

Nope... still crashing and I cannot load my notifications. It'll timeout saying 'there is a problem loading notifications'. But the rest has been smooth. I like that its not as sluggish as before especially when viewing photos. And also scrolling through comments aren't jerky anymore.

I bought IM+ when it was on sales.
Actually they don't differ a lot right.

I'll still get IM+ if both of them are $9.99 though. biggrin.gif

@fuiyo,
Both typically serves the same functions. It's a mater of preference. I too have both IM but I use BeejiveIM as my primary IM on my iPhone biggrin.gif

Sorry to bring up new topic, I have not seen any topic on iPhone used as your companion when you jog/exercise/gym. I myself like the idea of using iPhone as the tool and my companion when I workout. During marathon, I also see them wearing ipod/iphone next to their arm (with armband), so I am very curious if they use it just for companion/music or they actually track themselve.

Apps such as iFitness and Muscle Gain are good example of your trainer and nutritionist.
Apps such as MotionX GPS and B.iCycle are good to track your distance/track/speed your workout.

Combining those apps all together, it become powerful tools and companion.

Your thoughts?

I am only using Gym Free application for weights training guide. Other than that I don't use my iPhone for gym, I go for classes instead.

@sub7
currently using iFitness at the moment. pretty good app, helps me keep track with my progress. plus, i tend to forget exactly how much weights i used in my previous workouts, so app's ability to log your weights/reps/sets is fantastic.

on a totally unrelated note:

discovered this application: iPhone Explorer. http://www.iphone-explorer.com/
it's not an App store program and it's totally free. with this you can transfer any files to your iPhone via the USB cable. so you can now make your iPhone double-up as USB Disk Drive.

pair this up with another free app from App Store, FileAid, and you can now have file transfers BOTH over WiFi and cable. Since FileAid is paired up with DiskAid, as recommended by FileAid's developers, and DiskAid is shareware, you can just use iPhone Explorer as a FREE & LEGAL substitute to Diskaid.

Using iPhone Explorer, just transfers your documents to the same folder as DiskAid / FileAid, and you can now view your documents on your iPhone using FileAid.

I was expecting Fitness with iPhone thread separate with iPhone apps to encourage more replies. It is the next level of iPhone capability. Oh well.. sad.gif
