i think that garmin skimmed the audio in order to maintain the battery life since 2465 equipped with bt, extra strength signal receiver.
brightness and volume are the main factors that affect battery life.
some customers review that 2465 has shorter batt life compared with 1 series.
but i think this is normal since 2465 has so many extra features and since car charger is provided, this is not an issue unless u always in pedestrian mode, give and take lo hehe biggrin.gif

hehe, I made in early 2010. cost about 2.8k including LCD if not mistaken. nowdays, u can purchase it lower than that. i think 2.2k u will get already
