a macbook alu 2.4 was stolen at tmn desa this morning!! serial number W8845B3H1AX. pls call cops if u know someone trying to sell a macbook cheap!!

was stolen in kuala lumpur jalan klang lama taman desa abadi indah. with a ipod 60g black togather been steal. a black notebook sleve also n a karrimor backpack for the laptop. pecah rumah. other than tat, 3 watches belong to my father gone also. pls!! call the police when u see someone selling it very cheap.

I don't believe the cops will do anything if someone selling a macbook cheap. I hope Apple will setup a database of stolen macbooks serial number so buyers can cross reference against before buying one.

i go apple homepage try to find if there any report of stolen machine but there were no such service to allow us to report lost.

it's not apple's job to ensure your laptop safe.. if ur car is stolen, do u go back to car manufacturer and report it ? or even handphone, so dont be ridiculous.

1st, i dint mean to ask for apple to ganti rugi o make sure my mac was safe. like canon, if your camera was stolen , u jus need to report your serial num er to them, the next time is a stupid guy who send the stolen thing to repair, they will jus take action.

so, the same, if my mac was stolen, n the guy is stupid enough to take the machine to repair o what, n there was a database that show the machine was stolen, so they can do something.

a notebook is easier to trace, especially apple, since it's unique in a way compare to other brand. FYI some country already have a database of stolen hp. The bottom line is, if you are not helping, refrain from making clueless remarks.
