when i wipe my phone, i notice tat the left side of my iphone screen (near the metalic chrome there) the left side ege near the corner down d way to half middle gone up abit compare to the right side edge. i tot it's d corner n normal.. when i slowly press it using my finger.. i feel the softness of the screen.. (wat i mean is when i press it, it go down a lil n when i let it off, the screen go up slightly a lil) it's normal or nt? i'm afraid after for a long time of usage.. my whole screen will be spoilt n d whole side will be lift up more...

may i kno is tis included in the warranty? cause it's a phone defect rite? i din drop the phone.. sigh.. kinda worry..

aiks.. actually, kinda hard to xplain by writing tho..

wat i mean is the side edge tat separate the screen n the metallic casing got a very narrow gap rite? suppose shuld be in line.. but my left side of my phone is not in line.. abit go up.. so when u try to touch the side edge of the screen u can actually feel the screen nt in line.. when i lightly press on the side.. the side edge actually can go down.. (like those kind of feel, when u press it thn d side edge go down n when u let go ur finger, it lift up again) hopefully u get wat i mean tho..

try oredi.. can't take a screen shot cz it's nt obvious.. need to haf a very close up shot.. unless i use macro lens.. as u kno normal cam is lack of close up.. if too close the image will blur out

yeah.. u got wat i mean. i afraid after some force, sooner or later the lcd will be affected. do u think maxis will warranty on such case? i'm afraid they will jz refurbish or try to pressure n fix down my lcd screen during service n gif it bek to me as a new one. sooner or later the edge will bounce up again or getting worst.. sigh.. hopefully i can get a one to one exchange.. but jz nw i went to 1U Mac fair.. i ask the iphone consultant there, he told me tat 1 to 1 exchange is only limited to 7 days in purchase.. i was huh?? i neva heard from others mention bout tis?? wonder hw true is tis.. bad service no matter maxis or mac (msia).

yeah planning to go to maxis centre tomolo.. c hw it goes.. n i will insist on 1 to 1 exchange.. if possible who want a refurbish or repair phone rite?? cz i afraid the phone will get worst later on.. who knows.. sigh

ya.. i know. thx for ur advise. physically i can check.. bt internally kinda hard.. sometimes when we c it on the spot is ok.. after a few times of use, probs arise.. haha.. things alwiz happen unpredictable.. yea.. it depends on luck..

the probs is mine iphone is wif local warranty support under maxis. as u kno, maxis service is kinda bad

it depends on whether u need such a smartphone or nt. cz most of my frens bought tis phone cz they wan to play those app games.. plus nwadays iphone is a hit.. they r loaded, so....

actually if u wanna say tat d phone is good in terms of function, i would probably rank it as average.. cz iphone doesn't support a few things.. eventho gt video call function, bt we can't use it for video call to other party. u can't bluetooth wif other phone unless u JB it. it's nt tat user frenly compare to other phone.. cam is jz 3mp.. n etc

of cz d phone has it own good features as well.. to list a few.. we can play apps game. touch sensitive screen.. etc

so think wisely b4 u invest in a new phone.. whether u really need it or it's because lately it's a trend to carry around wif an iphone..

perhaps u might consider ipod touch? met ur requirements.. jz can't use it for phone call n taking pics only..

finally, i sent my phone for warranty .. in Gardens.. CS totally bad service plus lazy.. i guess they r quite lazy to do the replacement warranty. took me around 2 hrs in total including waiting..to complete my warranty procedure.

in d first place, jz c n inspect my phone n straight away say tat maxis won't take tis phone for warranty due to only slight defect.. n the CS dunno hw to make a decision. keep on asking another colleague opinion n etc..i was like gosh.. feel like wanna slap n scold the CS. trying to push it back to me n blame me didn't check properly the phone n i might be the culprit tat cause the phone defect.. i was so piss off n told them tat i haf checked the phone n it's normal. after few weeks, the defect arise. is tis counted as my probs?? guess wat the CS reply? it's impossible tat such case will happen n they didn't encounter it b4. darn!! doesn't happen b4 doesn't mean won't happen nw wat.. talk to them i feel so tension. suppose we speak nicely, then started to argue. cz can't stand d way they talk.. after sales service is totally bad

in the end, i insist to go for the warranty n they impatiently say tat they won't guarantee tat Apple itself will allow for the replacement. thn i say nvm.. at least i gif it a try.. thn the CS slowly do the necessary procedure for my phone replacement. hate such service. if i kno warranty such a hassle n hard, i won't buy iphone. no point get a phone but when come to warranty issue is such a trouble.. somemore mention tat haf to wait. MIN 2 working days.. max 3 mths.. really out of the mood..grrr
