i've been scouring all 65 pages of the threads and 41 pages of this thread http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/871684 for some answers/hints etc to my burning question.
so at the risk of offending any one of you, may i ask some stupid questions:

i'm selling my [version 3.0 OS] 2G jailbroken 16G iphone to a friend. what i would like to know is whether these steps are in the right directions or am i being 'the blind leading the blind'

1. i've erased all content & settings
2. for my friend to start using the iphone, he would need to restore & then jailbrake the iphone again?
3. can he simply register his name as the 'new' user of the iphone on itunes?

if i've somehow missed the appropriate thread for my Qs, please redirect.
