i have iphone 3g bought from maxis and lost my warranty card. i have all the details of my phone purchase such as date, sirim approval number, model no, serial no, hardware no.

the problem is maxis did not want to accept my phone for warranty purposes because they said they can only trace the iphone based on the phone number register with the iphone. which is totally unacceptable because they still can search using imei and serial number which is unique for every iphone.

anyone have similar experience with me? care to share some advice?

my iphone restart by itself and give me blank black and sometimes white screen. i tried to restore lot of times but its failed and the apple logo never come up on the phone.

i have tried on different laptop and maxis store also help me to restore. it doesnt work

i know the owner. the problem is the maxis agent might register my phone under different number to take advantages for 500mb from maxis for hotlink user at that time.

i even can provide maxis the owner phone number, ic number and etc...

but maxis just dont want to acknowledge it...

sigh...
